Mr. Randy Lyon, Chairman of the St. Luke's House Board of Directors, and Mr. John McCutcheon, Chairman of the Threshold Services Board of Directors, are pleased to announce the merger of the two largest behavioral health care providers in Montgomery County. St. Luke's House and Threshold Services will join forces officially on July 1, 2012. Unofficially, the two not-for-profit organizations have worked together for many years to bring the best possible treatment options, residential facilities, and vocational rehabilitation for people who have serious and persistent mental illness or co-occurring mental illness and substance use disorders. The combined organization will be known temporarily as St. Luke's House and Threshold Services United. Mr. Lyon, who will serve as Chairman of the combined organization's Board of Directors, said, "I am fully confident that this merger will be a great benefit to our community."
