Olga oversees the operational, human resources, and financial departments of the company. Prior to joining DataLab, Olga served as a loan risk analyst for Latin America at First Pennsylvania Bank, and Special Assistant for International Economic Councils at the US Chamber of Commerce in Washington, DC. |
![]() | Beth Albaneze MA, CTRS, CPRP Founder, House Calls, LLC | Beth Albaneze has expertise in Rehabilitation Counseling,Therapeutic Recreation, Integration Counseling and is a part-time professor at Montgomery College teaching clinical courses in Mental Health. She is a certified practitioner and also Founder and Director of the Student Department of a statewide nonprofit company that serves individuals with chronic mental illness and/or developmental disabilities. Ms. Albaneze has designed recreation programs for individuals of all ages who have had a chronic mental illness, a developmental disability, a head injury or life trauma, with life coaching and community resources. Beth works with clients in the home setting to build life skills, using both social integration techniques and cohesive strategies, so that her clients can be successful in re-integrating into the community. Beth has a vast knowledge of medical, educational and financial resources to help her advocate for her clients success. Ms. Albaneze has received Community Service and Department awards by organizations such as Best Buddies Inc; Maryland Recreation and Parks; National Society on Experiential Education; Bullets Basketball team (now Wizards); Montgomery County Police Department; Maryland Association of Psychosocial Services to highlight a few. |
| Carlos D. Davis Managing Director, CIA Recruitment Center Diversity Programs | Carlos D. Davis is Chairman of the Central Intelligence Agency Fine Arts Commission and has developed many intelligence-related exhibits, among them, the highly regarded Cold War Exhibit at the CIA. In that capacity, he has served as the project manager for the installation of several Art-in-Government projects. Mr. Davis is also a founding member of Advisory Board of Directors and Advisory Council of the International Spy Museum. He served as the CIA's official Loaned Executive Officer for the 2004 Combined Federal Campaign, serving as the Account Executive for the CIA, the National Gallery of Art, the National Endowment for the Arts, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. A twenty-five year veteran of the CIA, Mr. Davis conceived and contributed to the development of the book, Inside the CIA: The Art, Architecture and Atmosphere of America's Premier Intelligence Agency. He holds a BA in Architecture degree from Howard University and a MA in Engineering Management from the Catholic University of America. Mr. Davis is currently a Managing Director at the CIA. Carlos is was very involved in the development of Compeer of Montgomery County, and currently serves on its Advisory Board. | |

Grogan, Esq. | Stephanie Grogan is an estate planning attorney in private practice in Bethesda, Maryland, who has extensive experience advising on special needs trusts and working with families having a disabled member. She also prepares wills, trusts and powers of attorney, assists families with tax planning for estates, and serves as counsel in probate of estates and in trust administration. She has been a featured public speaker for the National Alliance on Mental Illness, the Alzheimer’s Association, and various other non-profits and federal agencies, has been in practice since 1977, and is a member of the Maryland and District of Columbia Bar Associations. |

Heller Member, Retired, House of Delegates (D. 19) | Delegate Henry Heller represented the people of the 19th Legislative District of Montgomery County in the Maryland House of Delegates from 1987 until 2010. He holds a doctorate in educational finance. Delegate Heller has been a member of Threshold Services' Board of Directors since 2001. He is a former Special Education teacher, high school football coach and principal, and a current faculty member at the University of Maryland. Delegate Heller lives in Aspen Hill, Maryland. |
![]() | Allen Kane Director, National Postal Museum | Allen Kane became Director of the Smithsonian Institution's National Postal Museum on February 19, 2002. The museum's collection includes almost 16 million items, ranging from stamps to mail planes. The National Postal Museum, through its collection and library, is dedicated to the preservation, study and presentation of postal history and philately. Kane, retired from the U.S. Postal Service in September, 2001 after serving more than 30 years in a variety of senior leadership positions devoted to strategic and policy planning, operations, marketing and logistics. His last position at the Postal Services was as that agency's Senior Vice President for Future Business Design. As a corporate officer for the U.S. Postal Service, Kane helped direct the 25th largest business in the world, with 840,000 employees and $67 billion in revenues. During his tenure at the Postal Service, Kane was responsible for a number of critical operations, including coordination of the implementation of thousands of pieces of a high-speed automated processing equipment; re-design of national distribution and transportation networks; phase-in of the JFK and LaGuardia airport facilities; and managing the USPS Gulf War Crisis team, in coordination with the White House and the Department of Defense, to ensure the successful delivery of 2.5 million pounds of mail per day to the Gulf. Kane received his bachelor's degree from Brooklyn College in New York in 1967, and his master's degree in business administration from Baruch Business School in New York City in 1970. He completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard University in the early 1980's. Kane lives in North Potomac, MD, with his wife, Sylvia. They have two grown sons. |
![]() | Marcia Kearly Social Worker | Marcia Kearly has been a Licensed Clinical Social worker for 21 years, obtaining her MSW from the University of Maryland at Baltimore. Recently retired, she specialized in mood disorders in adults and adolescents, doing individual, family and marital counseling. She was also a separation and divorce mediator for 3 years, having given many presentations on this topic. Currently she has been a guest presenter in a Group Dynamics course in the Mental Health program at Montgomery County Community College in Takoma Park. Marcia has had several publications in Mediation and in Therapy. Prior to becoming a social worker, Marcia was a Radiation Therapist, delivering radiation therapy to cancer patients for 20 years. Marcia's involvement in Threshold Services dates from 1985 when she was an intern and later employed as a counselor in this program. She has been on the Board of Directors of Threshold Services for 3 years, currently serving on the Client Welfare and Planning Committee. |
![]() | Frank E. Kearly, Ph.D. Medical Physicist, Maryland Regional Cancer Care | Frank Kearly is a medical physicist, responsible for the radiology departments in several Baltimore area hospitals. He has been a member of Threshold Services' Board of Directors since 1989. Frank currently chairs the Client Welfare and Planning Committee, and was elected to serve as the Board Chairperson in FY2007. He resides in Clarkesville, Maryland with his wife Marcia Kearly, LCSW-C. |
![]() | Craig S. Knoll, M.Ed. Executive Director/CEO | Craig Knoll has been the Executive Director/CEO of Threshold Services since 1990. From 1973 to 1990, he was an executive with three other non-profit organizations, which served people with developmental disabilities, homeless families and troubled adolescents. From 1966 to 1973, he taught children with learning disabilities and emotional disabilities and served as a Resource Teacher. He was elected twice to the Maryland House of Delegates, where he served from 1971 to 1978. He earned a Bachelor's degree in history from Towson State University in 1966 and a Master's degree in special education from the University of Maryland in 1974. |

![]() | Barbara A. Miller Senior Program Assistant, Hearing Loss Association of America | Barbara Miller works with the physically and mentally handicapped. Barbara has been a member of the Board since 1999. She has served on the Planning and Evaluation Committee, the Human Resources Committee, and is currently a member of the Client Welfare Committee. Barbara is the Program Assistant for the Hearing Loss Association of America, and brings a strong consumer voice to Threshold Services' Board of Directors. She resides in Rockville, Maryland. |

| Gino Parisi Artist | Gino Parisi previously served on the Board of Directors. He is currently a member of the Planning and Client Welfare Committee of the Board. Gino is a very exciting and increasingly celebrated abstract artist, whose paintings hang in a number of local universities and homes. Gino brings the first hand perspective of a consumer of mental health services to the Board of Directors. | |
![]() | James E. Plack President/CEO | James Plack is President and CEO of American Bank. He was unanimously elected to Threshold Services' Board of Directors in July, 2005, and serves on the Development and Community Relations Committee. Mr. Plack holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Maryland, as well as Executive Education degrees from University of North Carolina. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Baltimore in 1992. Mr. Plack has spent the past fourteen years in the banking and finance industry. James resides in Annapolis, Maryland. |
